Risk and Fraud Control actively monitors CHOICE REWARDS MasterCard credit cards, Business MasterCard credit cards and GLOBAL PAYMENT MasterCard cards on a continuous basis 24 hours a day / 7 days a week for any fraudulent activity. We have been advised of a potential compromise due to a data system breach with Home Depot. We are taking the necessary action to close cards as required based on our commitment to the security of your member’s financial information. The information involved in this compromise is specific to payment information and does not contain personal information.
MasterCard Credit Cards
We have closed all affected CHOICE REWARDS MasterCard credit cards and Business MasterCard credit cards that are potentially at risk and are sending out new cards. Cardholders can expect to receive their new card in approximately 10 business days from the date of reissue.
We will continue to monitor and close cards deemed to be at risk to mitigate any harm to your members.
Special attention will be paid to cards that are flagged with a travel advisory. These cards will be monitored closely and will only be closed during the advised travel time if necessary.
All affected cardholders will be sent a letter notifying them of the compromise and account closure.
If a cardholder notices unauthorized transactions on their card, have them call our Fraud and Security Department at 1-800-667-6577.
GLOBAL PAYMENT MasterCard Cards
We have closed all GLOBAL PAYMENT MasterCard cards that are potentially at risk. As potentially compromised cards are identified, we will provide notification through the normal processes.
We will continue to monitor and close GLOBAL PAYMENT MasterCard cards deemed to be at risk to mitigate any harm to your members.
